This 3-hour interactive workshop provides a common language and a shared understanding of key concepts used in the prevention of violence against women.

The workshop will cover:

• Definitions, prevalence and impacts of gender based and family violence
• The primary prevention approach
• The drivers of violence against women
• The importance of embedding intersectional approaches into prevention
• The essential actions for ending violence against women

The workshop is for:
People who are wanting to increase their knowledge of primary prevention, who are new or wishing to enter the primary prevention of violence against women workforce.
