Their contract with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, provides social, business and economic outcomes to our local community and they are an access point for the Department of Human Services. ?
The Warren Blackwood Emergency Accommodation Centre
The Warren Blackwood Emergency Accommodation Centre is available to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, including those experiencing domestic violence and young people over 16 years of age. People who access this service (including their accompanying children) are provided with, or are assisted to access accommodation (which includes long-term accommodation and the appropriate support). They are provided with direct support or are assisted to access other services to address issues contributing to their homelessness.
The Boyup Brook Health Service is a multi purpose facility which services the health needs for the Shire of Boyup Brook. The hospital is a 12 bed hospital servicing high care nursing home, acute, general medical and palliative care patients.
The Australian Men’s Shed Association is the national service provider to more than 1000 Men’s Sheds in Australia – providing practical support, specialised services and resources.
Advocacy WA assists and supports people with disabilities to achieve social and individual change, empowerment, justice and human rights. They provide a range of (individual) advocacy services for people with disabilities living in the South West of Western Australia.
