The Community Disability Housing Program (CDHP) is a program for people with a disability that require significant and ongoing support to live safely within the community. CDHP does not provide crisis or emergency accommodation.
The Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre (EDAC) is the peak advocacy organisation in WA and aims to safeguard the rights of ethnic people with disabilities and their families. They provide individual and systemic advocacy services for people with all types of disability including physical, sensory, intellectual and psychiatric conditions. The service include:
Individual Advocacy – to help people with disabilities to have their say and stand up for their rights.
Systemic Advocacy – to influence and secure positive long – term changes in society for people with disabilities.
The National Relay Service is a government service which helps those who are deaf/hard of hearing communicate with others over the phone through a relay officer.
