Anger Control Training (ACT) is a free 10-week program designed for men which is run by CFSS WA LTD. The program is carried out in a social support group setting aims to provide individuals with skills to understand control and manage their anger and tension. The program also teaches skills on how to develop, rehearse and implement communication and emotional regulation skills to best manage their aggression in provocative situations. |
Joblink Midwest is a non-for-profit organisation providing a range of services to relieve poverty in the Midwest and Gascoyne region. The Joblink Midwest Jobs & Skills Centre use a range of career profiling tools including Career Builder, a question and answer based program easily completed in less than 60 minutes. One of our qualified Career Development Officers will also assist you in developing an action plan based around the career options that best suit your personality.

Emergency relief helps people to address their immediate basic needs in times of financial crisis or hardship through material or financial aid (e.g. vouchers, clothes and food parcels). The Midwest Intensive Family Support Service works with families to improve their wellbeing and keep children safe at home. The service provides case management, practical parenting education and skill development, information, informal counselling, and links to community services to address the unique circumstances of each family. IFSS workers help families to identify and strengthen supportive family networks that can help keep children safe, and help with family reunification, and supports families in times of crisis. |

The service provides direct services to the target groups to deal effectively with the effects of the harm caused by child sexual abuse in families and communities (including trauma, guilt, pain, fear and other damaging personal and interpersonal effects), and to prevent child sexual abuse from recurring. This program focuses on supporting all Australians including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families living in the Gascoyne region who have been affected by the trauma of child sexual abuse, family domestic Violence /or family violence. |
