Pilbara Community Legal Service – Financial Counselling
Financial Counselling services are offered to both high and low income earners. It services to the people of the Pilbara from all four offices in Karratha, Roebourne, Hedland and Newman. It is non-judgmental, free and confidential. Information, support and advocacy is provided to assist clients to address identified financial problems and manage financial situations more effectively.
PCLS has solicitors located in Karratha and Hedland. The legal service is provided to the people of the Pilbara and outreach is conducted on an at needs basis.

The Marble Bar Community Resource Centre delivers a variety of services and programs.?The core business activities include: Cultural & Community Events, Photocopying & Faxing, Internet Access & Printing Facilities, Conference & Training Room Hire, Secretarial Services, Video Conferencing & Equipment Hire, Poster/Canvas Design & Print, Training Courses, assistance with accessing government services.
Newman offers borrowing of books, scanning, photocopying, printing and laminating. There are computer stations where you can use the internet free for personal use, business needs or for online learning. The also has a coffee lounge, comfortable seating and free WIFI.
Integrated maternity services, child health and development to support optimal health and well-being for all children in East Pilbarra. No fee service.

EPIS Inc. offers a range of high-quality support services to assist individuals to live independently in their homes and communities. Services are provided to people who are frail aged, with disabilities, long term medical conditions and their carers. EPIS provides person-centred care by delivering services based upon understanding and assisting clients to live according to their own abilities and specific needs. Head office is situated in Newman. Services are also provided to Marble Bar and Tom Price.
Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service (PAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service located in the East Pilbara region delivering services in communities located in the Great Sandy, Little Sandy and Gibson Deserts. Services available: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People’s Health Assessment, Adult and child immunisations, Chronic disease management, Well person checks, Men’s and women’s health, Medication services, Acute Care (GP Services), Rheumatic heart disease care management

Crisis and assistance for homelessness and domestic violence for women and children. Emergency outreach relief for essentials such as food and clothing available during business hours Monday to Friday.
The service aims to engage directly with individuals, families and communities to: – Prevent problems arising from alcohol and other drug use – Provide treatment support for people struggling with their wellbeing – Community support to assist communities in becoming more resilient in coping with the effects of alcohol and other drugs – Services provided by the Pilbara – Community Alcohol and Drug Service are focused on not only reducing levels of alcohol and drug related harm, but improving the general health and wellbeing, relationships, engagement, and general living conditions within Pilbara communities. From the service locations in South Hedland, Karratha, Newman and Tom Price, Clinical Case Managers engage with small and remote communities through outreach trips.
The Domestic and Family Violence WA service works with people living in Newman and Karratha who are experiencing family and domestic violence. The service will provide case management support and connection to other services in the community. Assistance also provided for those who use violence in the home.
