People can attend counselling as individuals, couples, or as a family. Counselling for children is also available.

Matters discussed include couple issues, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual issues, childhood sexual abuse, stress and conflict in various situations including work related conflicts.

Northam PCYC exists so that children and young people at risk in the Northam area have a safe place to go – somewhere they can feel at home, make friends and do things that young people should do.

Northam PCYC is an integral part of the local community delivering programs and activities not available anywhere else in the region. The Centre works closely with schools, community groups, the WA Police and other agencies to provide a variety of activities each week to cater for young peoples needs.

Northam PCYC caters to young people within the community by providing structured social and sporting activities in a safe and controlled environment and relies on community support and a loyal base of volunteers for the successful running of its activities.

Therapeutic Family Services (TFS) encompasses multiple programmes operated by Parkerville Children and Youth Care, aimed at providing children, young people and their families with therapeutic support. TFS specialises in trauma and abuse related issues with a strong focus on, and experience in, assessing and treating children and young people in the out of home care system.
