Bloodwood Tree has trained and employed local community residents to deliver the service at Yandeyarra.
Healthy living Program: An intensive 4-day workshop that provides at-risk individuals and families with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve and maintain a healthy home (tenancy obligations, inspections, cleaning and maintaining a home), healthy family (family health, family first aid and conflict resolution) and healthy life (bill paying, budgeting and meal planning).
The workshops are hands-on and collaborate with local agencies to assist participants to stay in their home once tenancy has been obtained.
The Bloodwood Tree counselling & support teams are here to help anyone who is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, family violence or any family affected by substance abuse.
Their confidential support system provides a range of services which address issues that affect the lives of substance users and the impact on family relationships.

This service is a 16 bed facility and operates between 4:00pm and 8:00am Monday to Friday, including Friday night and all Public Holidays. The Sobering Up Centre is designed to provide Bloodwood Tree clients with a safe environment and access to bathroom facilities, a bed, clean clothes, simple nutritious meals, non-judgemental non-discriminatory care and referral to other agencies and services if required.
Bloodwood Tree clients have access to a range of one on one or group counselling sessions.
During these sessions their team of professionals help clients work through any emotional, behavioural, mental or relational difficulties or problems they may be facing.
Through counselling clients also receive assistance in: obtaining housing, employment as well as treating any underlying issues that have come to light during their sessions.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, you may be eligible to apply for Emergency Relief in the form of Coles (food-only) gift cards.
The Breakfast Program provides facilities such as a hot shower, clean clothes and a nutritious meal. Monday and Friday there are access to Bloodwood Tree counsellors.

Acacia attends to all crisis calls that come from local emergency departments including Port and South Hedland Police Stations, Hedland Victims Support and Hedland Health Campus. When a survivor of sexual assault/abuse engages with these three departments, they will be informed of the crisis service Acacia provides and they will be invited to have a crisis support worker attend.
