Let’s Talk Gender Roles is a primary prevention social media campaign focused on addressing one of the key drivers of violence against women identified by Our Watch: Change the Story – rigid gender stereotyping and dominant forms of masculinity.
The campaign aims to challenge perceptions around rigid and restrictive gender roles in families and workplaces, while promoting gender-equitable messages and behaviours. By raising awareness and encouraging reflection, the campaign supports long-term cultural change and safer, more respectful communities.
Launched on March 8, 2024, the campaign was tailored specifically for the Goldfields region and concluded on 30 June 2025.
