Integrated Primary Mental Health Care (IPMHC)

Mission Australia delivers the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care (IPMHC) service across the Pilbara to people who are experiencing psychological distress, depression, anxiety and other symptoms of distress. A priority of this service is to deliver culturally secure support; Mission Australia subcontracts services to Bloodwood Tree for culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal people. The IPMHC provides brief intervention, counselling and case coordination. Individuals can be referred through General Practitioners and other Health Care Providers – self referrals are also accepted.

Share & Care Community Services Group – Mental Health Support Service

Share and Care Community Services provides non-clinical support to people with severe and/or persistent psychiatric illness to develop/maintain living and social skills. This service also encourages the consumer to participate in community life and activities. Consumers must provide a referral from the Wheatbelt Mental Health Team, GP, Psychiatrist or Psychologist.
