It is well known that frontline workers can be uniquely impacted in a range of ways and burnout is considered an occupational health and safety issue.
Who is this course for?
The workshop is for FDV practitioners, professionals, frontline staff or other staff who support people with experiences of psychological trauma.
Learning outcomes:
- Differentiate between vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout
- Recognise the symptoms of vicarious trauma for those who work alongside clients with experiences of psychological trauma
- Identify individual and organisational vicarious trauma management strategies
