Who is this course for?

The course is available to anyone wanting to learn more about the complex nature of victim-survivor responses to family and domestic violence (FDV). It explores the help-seeking decisions of women experiencing FDV, their enablers and barriers to support services.

Many victim-survivors experiencing FDV do not seek formal support, therefore, they do not receive assistance or have access to interventions that enable them to be safe. It is important that practitioners understand the complex nature of victim-survivor responses to FDV to address their needs, enhance their safety, and enable them to live free from violence.
