  • access free Wi-Fi without a password
  • get brochures and fact sheets
  • call us using the phone provided
  • use the phone claiming service
  • get reply paid Medicare envelopes
  • scan, copy, print and upload documents
  • verify identity documents

At an Agent you can also:

  • get help to set up and access digital services
  • get help with general questions about our payments and services
  • get a referral to other services.

One Tree Community Services – Paraburdoo Children’s Service

The Paraburdoo Children’s Service is day care 80 place service. They provide childcare services to:

  • The toddler room caters for children from 24 months to 3 years.
  • The kindy room caters for children from 3 years to 6 years.

Pilbara Alcohol and Drug Services – Paraburdoo Outreach

The Pilbara Community Alcohol and Drug Service, provided by Mission Australia, offers a range of services that assist individuals and communities to address drug and alcohol use and strives to increase the wellbeing of people living in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. The service aims to engage directly with individuals, families and communities to:

  • Prevent problems arising from alcohol and other drug use
  • Provide treatment support for people struggling with their wellbeing
  • Community support to assist communities in becoming more resilient in coping with the effects of alcohol and other drugs

Services provided by the Pilbara Community Alcohol and Drug Service are focused on not only reducing levels of alcohol and drug related harm, but improving the general health and wellbeing, relationships, engagement, and general living conditions within Pilbara communities. From the service locations in South Hedland, Karratha, Newman and Tom Price, Clinical Case Managers engage with small and remote communities through outreach trips.

Karijini Family Violence & Counselling Services is a free community service that provides:

  • Short Term emergency accommodation
  • Emergency financial relief

Karingal Neighbourhood Centre

Mission Australia delivers the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care (IPMHC) service across the Pilbara to people who are experiencing psychological distress, depression, anxiety and other symptoms of distress. A priority of this service is to deliver culturally secure support; MA subcontracts services to Bloodwood Tree for culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal people. The IPMHC provides brief intervention, counselling and case coordination. Individuals can be referred through General Practitioners and other Health Care Providers – self referrals are also accepted.

Mission Australia provides an outreach program that visits Karingal on a fortnightly basis.
