This 3-hour training is for practitioners, professionals and frontline staff who work directly with family and domestic violence (FDV) victim-survivors. It provides basic knowledge of trauma and assists participants in understanding the various ways in which trauma can impact victim-survivors of FDV. It includes information on traumatic reactions and common trauma responses and shares core concepts and best practices in responding to victim-survivors who have experienced trauma.

FDV practitioners, professionals, frontline staff or other workers who support victim-survivors of FDV or sexual assault or who support people with experiences of psychological trauma.
