The ECCWA is the States peak ethnic umbrella organisation. It is a non-government, non-profit community based organisation which takes an active interest in all aspects of multiculturalism and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) affairs and acts on behalf of all ethnic communities in Western Australia
Australian Red Cross – Family and Domestic Violence Program – Migration Support
The Family and Domestic Violence program is available to all people on temporary visas or with uncertain visa status, experiencing family and domestic violence and in need of financial support. Under the year-long pilot program, we will be providing up to $3,000 in financial assistance to people who are eligible to help cover expenses such as accommodation, food, and medical care.
Midwest Multicultural Association is a community group who promote diversity and unity within the community. The group offers membership and frequently runs community events such as their Harmony festival. They also provide information and referrals as well as English classes every Friday during the school terms.
