Below is a list of options for alcohol and drug support, including sobering up centres, rehabilitation centres, alcohol and drug counselling, youth support services offering alcohol and drug support, and alcohol and drug support groups. The ABLe program aims to improve the independence, participation and long-term lifetime wellbeing of people living in Wyndham who are affected by mental health issues, which includes issues with drug and alcohol misuse and/or gambling. This program includes building personal resilience and supporting participants to sustainably manage the impacts of their mental health issues. This program is open to people living in Wyndham, who are aged 16 to 65 years.
This service is a 16 bed facility and operates between 4:00pm and 8:00am Monday to Friday, including Friday night and all Public Holidays. The Sobering Up Centre is designed to provide Bloodwood Tree clients with a safe environment and access to bathroom facilities, a bed, clean clothes, simple nutritious meals, non-judgemental non-discriminatory care and referral to other agencies and services if required.
The Bloodwood Tree counselling & support teams are here to help anyone who is struggling with drug or alcohol addiction, family violence or any family affected by substance abuse.
Their confidential support system provides a range of services which address issues that affect the lives of substance users and the impact on family relationships.
