Below is a list of options for alcohol and drug support, including sobering up centres, rehabilitation centres, alcohol and drug counselling, youth support services offering alcohol and drug support, and alcohol and drug support groups. If you cannot find local alcohol and drug support services for your area, you can find state and national alcohol and drug support services at the bottom of this page, including alcohol and drug counsellors, and those providing information about treatment options and referrals to local services.
The Alcohol and Other Drug Outreach Service supports adults and their families, who are experiencing (or at risk of) issues associated with their alcohol and other drug use. The service provides case management and treatment interventions to the communities of Meekatharra, Mt Magnet and Cue in order to reduce harm and support change behaviour before the use of alcohol and other drugs becomes entrenched or problematic. The service is culturally safe and also offers counselling, group work, and community education and awareness support.
Delivers a non-residential trauma-informed service that is culturally responsive and safe, with prioritised placements for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their families and communities. They provide a flexible model of care that allows for outreach, drop-in support and care on Country for individuals, families and community groups. They accept referrals by any individual, family member, agency or organisation that requires a Social and Emotional Wellbeing related support in the region.
