Goldfields Rehablitation Services Inc. – Transitional Housing

Transitional Housing allows graduates of the rehabilitation programme access to subsidised and fully functional accommodation for up to 3 months. This enables clients to continue receiving support in a controlled and safe environment. Clients in the transitional programme are encouraged to slowly integrate back into the community and into employment. The first 12 months of recovery are vital to recovering addicts and they require a support network to assist them in avoiding relapse.

Goldfields Rehablitation Services Inc – Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Service

Goldfields Rehabilitation Detoxification Service is a 4 bed residential low medical unit located in Kalgoorlie, which provides a specialist service for people requiring sub-acute medical care during alcohol or other drug withdrawal. Intake is each Monday and a Doctor is on site between 9:00am-10:00am to complete assessment and care plan.

Goldfields Rehabilitation Services Inc operates a residential rehabilitation programme with a minimum stay of 15 weeks. Residents can be reassessed after 10 weeks stay to ensure they are ready to graduate from the programme. Upon discussions and planning with staff residents may stay for a period up to an additional 10 weeks.

Garl Garl Walbu provides Sobering Up Shelter and Derby Night Patrol service for intoxicated people so they can be transported home or to a safe place such as the Sobering Up Shelter facility which provides an overnight accommodation and has four rostered full time workers to assist and monitor customers while sleeping and provide a cooked meal in the morning.
