  • The Out of School Care (OSC) caters for children 6 years to 12 years.

One Tree provide early and middle childhood education and care (including out of school hours care). The Onslow Children’s Service is a 48 place services that caters for children zero – six years in a mixed age environment.

We have an emergent program that provides many learning opportunities based on children’s interests.

We also take part in weekly excursions to a community playgroup.

Nintirri Centre – Women’s Health and Midwife Clinic

The Women’s Health and Midwife clinic is a safe, supportive and confidential space for women to discuss any concerns or find out more information about their health. They can receive health screening and advice on a range of women’s health issues as well as evidence-based, continuity of care throughout pregnancy and after birth. Clinical and advocacy services are provided by a Registered Nurse, who specialises in women’s health and can offer:

  • Cervical cancer screening (replaces pap smears);
  • Contraception and menstrual issues advice;
  • Fertility counselling;
  • Breast examinations;
  • Sexually transmitted infections screening;
  • Menopause support;
  • Relationship and sexual problems counselling.
$15 per appointment to be paid upon booking.

Nintirri Centre – Karijini Family Violence Counselling and Prevention

Karijini Family Violence Counselling and Prevention. Karijini Family Violence Advocacy is a free community service for people struggling with personal, emotional and family issues. It provides confidential support and domestic violence counselling through a non-threatening, non-judgmental and informal approach. Prevention and education programs are also a vital part of this service and are delivered in Tom Price, Wakuthuni, Bellary Springs, Yongaleena and Paraburdoo.

Nintirri Centre – Early Years Care and Education

Little Geckos is the only child care centre in Tom Price, offering a 43-place full time day care for babies, toddlers and pre-school children.

After School Hours Care is a program offering 20 places, after school collection from both North Tom Price Primary School and Tom Price Primary School to The Nintirri Centre for activities, play and homework. A Vacation Care service is also offered in school holidays to keep your school aged children active and safe in a social environment offering a range of fun activities.

They also offer a 19 place transition to school program for three year olds based at North Tom Price Primary School. The program aims to help the children and families feel more comfortable in the school environment and get school ready for the following year.

Mission Australia – Integrated Primary Mental Health Care (IPMHC)

Mission Australia delivers the Integrated Primary Mental Health Care (IPMHC) service across the Pilbara to people who are experiencing psychological distress, depression, anxiety and other symptoms of distress. A priority of this service is to deliver culturally secure support; MA subcontracts services to Bloodwood Tree for culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal people. The IPMHC provides brief intervention, counselling and case coordination. Individuals can be referred through General Practitioners and other Health Care Providers – self referrals are also accepted. Provides mental health support for people all over the Pilbara.
