The Carnarvon Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that provides health and medical services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Carnarvon and surrounding communities, such as Mungullah, Gascoyne Junction, and Burringurrah.

This facility offers a large range of youth oriented programs, workshops, events and activities every week and throughout the year. Featuring a multi-purpose building, the youth hub is a youth friendly zone and a safe place where young people can develop new skills, enhance existing abilities and socialise with peers.
RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park is a pet friendly accommodation option offering a range of accommodation including self-contained cabins, brand new studios and powered and unpowered sites. Their facilities include a kitchen, laundry facilities, fax/photocopying and wifi access. |
safeSPACE is PCYC’s core Diversionary Program for vulnerable children and young people at risk.
Operating as an After School Hours Program provides young people with a safe place to go – somewhere they can feel at home, make friends and take part in fun activities.
When children and young people live too far to walk to a Centre, the PCYC can provide transport to safeSPACE sessions, collecting them and taking them home at the end of the session, providing healthy snacks and dinner before transporting them home.
A huge range of activities are offered at safeSPACE Programs, from basketball to skating, bike riding, arts and crafts, cooking, and help with homework, as well as a chance to hang out with friends in a safe, supportive environment.
As well as entertaining children and young people, the safeSPACE Program plays a vital role keeping them safe. As young people build relationships with PCYC staff and trust them to talk to, this provides an avenue for PCYC to refer to other agencies and services that can help with further issues such as their mental health, family violence and drug abuse.

The Carnarvon Service provides services for Indigenous people which include child health and immunisation, dental health, environmental health, general consultations, outreach services to in the Mungullah Community within the Gascoyne Junction region, which are closed every second Friday, visits by health specialists and pharmacy services. |

The Aboriginal Family Law Services can assist people with their family law matters when there are children involved. They will represent clients in the Family Court WA, however much of their work involves helping clients to work out parenting agreements. Here are some things they can help with:

Financial Counselling Services assist individuals and families on low incomes experiencing financial difficulties. CFSS WA Ltd works with clients to resolve financial crises such as the risk of legal action, loss of essential services or eviction. Services offer information, conduct assessments and provide options and supports to assist consumers address identified problems and manage their financial situation more effectively. This service also provides support to people throughout the Gascoyne Region, Gascoyne Junction, Mungullah Community and Burringurrah Community. |

Community Health services promote healthy outcomes for infants, young children and their families through a comprehensive approach in collaboration with parents/carers. Community Health nurses complete health checks and assessments of children’s physical, developmental, social and emotional needs and enable access to timely and appropriate interventions and supports. The Carnarvon PCYC offers out of school care, vacation care and youth holiday activities which aims to engage young people by providing them with a safe space to engage in activities before and after school, on weekends and during school holidays. Young people have the opportunity to attend and participate in a range of activities in a safe and secure environment. If needed, they also have access to Youth Workers and WA PCYC employees who can help identify their needs and either work with them to address them, or refer them to other agencies and services for the appropriate support. WA PCYC Out of School Care activities provide young people with a place to meet and the opportunity to try new activities. We aim to improve relationships between youth and the community by providing youth activities that focus on increasing participants’ communication skills and their ability to work as a team.
Granny Glasglow offers full-time, part-time and occasional long day care to children aged from six weeks to five years old. They offer an exciting, safe environment where children are provided with many opportunities to learn while playing.
