James Garnaut Horizon House in Broome provides support for young Aboriginal men aged 16 to 22 years who need long term accommodation and care. To be eligible for the St John of God Horizon House program, you must satisfy the following criteria:
Provides support and information, counselling and accommodation for homeless women and their children who are victims of mental, physical and domestic violence and abuse.
BRAMS provides comprehensive, holistic and culturally responsive primary health care and social and emotional wellbeing services to Aboriginal people living in Broome.
The Young Mums Program is for young Aboriginal mums aged 25 and under. The service equips young mums with the skills, knowledge and confidence to nurture the wellbeing and development of themselves and their children.
The service works individually and in groups with young mums and their communities by providing education, parenting support and advocacy together with local community support networks. They offer a safe place for mums to connect with each other, discuss their concerns on a one on one basis or in a group setting and provide support.
