Wheatbelt Population Health is a strong, diverse and high-performing health service that puts the health of country people first. Our priority action areas are:

The Population Health team is made up of four primary health services located in the Avon & Central, Eastern, Western and Southern districts of the Wheatbelt. A regional Wheatbelt Aboriginal Health Service and a regional Wheatbelt Public Health Unit are located in Northam.

The WA Poisons Information Centre (WAPIC) is an emergency phone service to the states of Western Australia and South Australia and the Northern Territory providing management advice in cases of suspected poisoning and known poisonings. Advice is also provided on drug information and poisoning prevention.
