If you are in a domestic and family violence crisis, below is a list of crisis services, including local police, domestic violence police units, ambulance services, local hospital services, and fire and emergency services. If you cannot find local crisis support services for your area, you can find a list of state and national support services at the bottom of this page.
The Department provides a range of child safety and family support services to Western Australian individuals, children and their families. They work with families to build safety around their children, enabling them to remain at home rather than being taken into care. Where this is not possible, the Department works with community sector organisations and foster carers to provide a safe and protective environment for these vulnerable children and young people.
Hospital Services:
Broome Health Campus provides a 24 Hour Emergency Department and an acute psychiatric unit and paediatric ward.
