The Bunbury Family Relationship Centre provides a family dispute resolution service for families experiencing separation. The Centre provides a holistic service that supports separated families to discuss and negotiate their parenting, grand-parenting, property and financial arrangements without having to go to court.

Funded by the Australian Government, the Centre is staffed by professionally qualified staff offering confidential and impartial services in a welcoming and safe environment.

Qlife

QLife provides Australia-wide anonymous, LGBTI peer support and referral for people wanting to talk about a range of issues including sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships.

QLife services are free and include both telephone and webchat support, delivered by trained LGBTI community members across the country. Services are for LGBTI individuals, their friends and families, and health professionals in Australia.

Pilbara Family and Domestic Violence Coordinated Response Service

West Pilbara Family & Domestic Violence Coordinated Response Service (CRS) assists victims of family and domestic violence who have had police attend an incident of family violence, which has resulted in a domestic violence incident report (DVIR). The CRS works alongside Western Australian Police, Child Protection and Family Support, and Department of Corrective Services, offering support to people at high risk of violence to build their safety, away from further abuse. CRS is delivered in the Pilbara and Geraldton in conjunction with numerous other lead agencies within the family and domestic violence service system.

Nintirri Centre – Women’s Health and Midwife Clinic

The Women’s Health and Midwife clinic is a safe, supportive and confidential space for women to discuss any concerns or find out more information about their health. They can receive health screening and advice on a range of women’s health issues as well as evidence-based, continuity of care throughout pregnancy and after birth. Clinical and advocacy services are provided by a Registered Nurse, who specialises in women’s health and can offer:

  • Cervical cancer screening (replaces pap smears);
  • Contraception and menstrual issues advice;
  • Fertility counselling;
  • Breast examinations;
  • Sexually transmitted infections screening;
  • Menopause support;
  • Relationship and sexual problems counselling.
$15 per appointment to be paid upon booking.
